Pros and cons of Yellow Pages app for iPhone and iPad

Yellow Pages app good for

Use it several times per week. Great results. Like the option to choose maps you prefer such as apple or Google or other. Also easy to add contact information.

Works perfectly, every time. Either by specific name or broad category.

I absolutely love this app it great for finding businesses all over the place. I also use it 2 look up addresses n save addresses 2 my contacts. I would have given u 5 stars,but there are s number of incorrect numbers n your app. Plus the voice recognition software often gets the info wrong when talking into it. However the movie info is fairly complete n it also helps to c previews.

Perfect except needs handicap seating/parking/shopping information / symbols. It would make my friends and I spend more money and visit more places. Considering the number of spinal cord injuries alone justifies this market segment, add stoke victims, cancer patients, mobility disabiled and this is more than a market segment. I made a living in marketing prior to my medical mistake and have met mank people on handicap transportation who value this information . Add hip replacements, knee replacements and other temporary mobile disabilities and everyone needs this information! Potential buyers should be purchasing for this information alone. My consulting fee was $125.00 per hour or you could hire me for les per hour however I received health insurance, commission, travel benefits and others and so I earned more money. You are would be giving your customers a very large market segment for placing an add! Go sales! Be sure and tell handicap bus/ ban : taxi and drivers as they are always offering me information on whet to buy / use / park: information,

Some bad moments

Everytime I search for something. I get adds at the top. I didnt search for that so why are you showing me it.

Cant stand the new pop ads example: for download solitaire. And there is no x spot to make it disappear so I can continue to look for the business I am looking for. I have to scroll down to find which location I want to call and the pop up blocks part of the screen so it takes longer to scroll! I am looking for phone numbers not downloading games on my phone!!! Stupid apps I am not interested in.

If you dont already have an idea of where your going you wont fin it on here!!!!! Midnight and cant find a place to sleep!!!!

what a piece of crap. no matter what I search for I get the same paid ads -- Safelite Auto Glass shows up even on restaurants. I tested it with known businesses and it failed each time to find them. Tell me how a grocery store chain is helpful when I search for shoes. i deleted this and put a real copy of the Yellow Pages in each car.

I have followed directions to businesses that dont exist. Waste of time and gas. Directions for a business in the middle of a development or a field. Wasting time with an unreliable app like this is one thing, wasting time when working on a job is unacceptable. Just use Google maps its much better.

OMG. You type in the name of the business and it returns 25+ listings of somewhat related info. Somewhere in the midst of the list is what you asked for. Maybe have the option for a fuzzy search. Its so aggravating. I was looking for a specific hospital address and the search returned animal hospitals, hospital supply.
